Champions: Classes and Skills
Champions is what makes Caria special: the same classes, skills and balanced combat in every game mode of the network. There are 6 classes and 107 skills (counted from the code: 101 class skills + 6 global skills). What changes by mode is where classes are used: in Kingdoms during kingdom wars and on your land, in Skyblock in the arenas and the shared PvE combat zone.
How you get a class
Your armor decides your class: wear a full armor set of a class and you are that class. You cannot change armor while in combat.

Builds and skill slots
A class's skills are split into slots: sword, axe, bow, passive A, passive B and global. Your build has 12 points and one skill per slot; each level costs 1 point. You get 4 build slots per class.
- Sword and axe skills are used with right click; for a bow skill you left click to prepare it and your next arrow carries it.
- Passive A skills are toggled or triggered with Q or F.
- Skills spend energy: maximum 150, refilling 15 per second, shown on your XP bar. Every skill also has a cooldown.
1.8-style balanced combat
Combat feels like older versions: no attack cooldown, no sword sweep, and right click with a sword gives a blocking stance. Classes, skills and gear tiers are built on top of it; skill and a good build should win, not tricks.
How it is used in each mode
In Kingdoms classes work everywhere: kingdom wars, pillage, landmarks and bosses. You set your class with the Class Master or a Class Table on your kingdom land.
In Skyblock classes and PvP work only in the two arenas and the shared PvE combat zone; there is no combat on islands or in the rest of spawn. Edit your builds with /arena builds.
